I graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Physiological Sciences. I then returned to Bristol to complete my MRes in the Hammond Lab where I explored the role of tnf-alpha in skeletal regeneration. I have stayed in the Hammond lab where I started on the SWBio DTP in 2023. My PhD project explores the relationship between ageing, senescence, and inflammation and their effect on skeletal disorders. I will also investigate the effects of environmental pollutants on inducing senescence and premature ageing in the skeletal system. Outside the lab I love going to the pottery studio, doing aerial circus, and spending time outdoors in nature.
